Abstract:

  At the K2010 in Düsseldorf, SML, one of the leading high-performance extrusion equipment producers, will be introducing the innovative "EcoCompact", its latest stretch film line, which offers an unbeatable price-performance ratio.

  The "EcoCompact" sets new cost-efficiency benchmarks, as with a footprint of just 140 sqm it nearly halves the space requirement of standard stretch film lines, but nonetheless still achieves equal or even higher output. In addition, the line is characterized by low energy consumption, durability and stable production, not least due to the fact that all its components stem for leading manufacturers. 

  4-up "EcoCompact" lines are available in net widths of 2,000mm and with a choice of 3- or 5-layer production. Winding takes place using a W4000 winder with automatic core magazine,which is suitable for both machine and mother rolls in weights of up to 60kg. "EcoCompact"lines have a net production capacity of around 1,200 kg/h and run at speeds in excess of 600 m/min.
