Abstract:
UBIFRANCE, the French agency for international business development, will lead 70 companies and host the France pavilion in the coming K fair to be held from October 27 to November 3.
The triennial trade fair is the world's largest international trade fair dedicated to the plastics and rubber industries.
Again this year, the France pavilion will host the Matériautech, a tool for creating ideas that invites users on a "sensory voyage" through the world of plastics. It will feature everything needed for selecting the right material with full control over the user's impressions of the product: colors, effects, transparence, feel, smell, sound, etc. The Mat ériautech gives rise to productive exchanges between creators looking for information on plastics and industrials promoting their products.
With its annual business volume of some 30 billion euros, France ranks among the major players in the plastics sector, in second place in Europe behind Germany. Positioned among the top five plastics exporting countries, France's 3,750 companies export 6.7 billion euros worth of goods. Germany is France's leading commercial partner in this sector.
At least 200,000 industry visitors from all over the world are expected to attend K2010 to gather information on offerings in the industry worldwide and find out about the newest trends.
